Company is hiring a Payroll Specialist to take ownership of key payroll processes and service delivery. In this role, you will develop a deep understanding of systems and legislation to identify trends, lead operations-focused tasks, and work collaboratively across internal teams and with business partners to resolve issues.
What You'll Do
- Manage payroll queries from employees, managers, and HR partners in a timely and professional manner.
- Correctly administer payroll processes.
- Manage service delivery metrics related to outsourced payroll.
- Lead Payroll Service Delivery teams and/or their operations.
- Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
- May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements.
- Convey performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.
- Use judgment to propose solutions outside of set parameters to address day-to-day problems.
- Prioritize information for data analysis using technical experience and analytical thinking.
What We're Looking For
- Advanced experience in Human Resources & Payroll and Benefits Service Delivery.
- Knowledge level comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma with relevant experience.
- Proficiency in the English language.
Nice to Have
- French language capability.
Team & Environment
This role is most commonly found in Shared Service teams, but can also be part of Business teams.
