About the Role
Performs on-site vehicle inspections, repairs, and maintenance services using a fully equipped mobile unit. Ensures timely service delivery and customer satisfaction while adhering to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in automobiles using specialized tools
- Conduct repairs and replacements of brakes, exhaust systems, and suspension components
- Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, fluid top-offs, and filter replacements
- Operate a company-provided mobile service vehicle equipped with tools and parts
- Travel to customer locations such as homes, businesses, or fleet sites
- Document service activities and maintain accurate repair records
- Communicate findings and repair options clearly to customers
- Follow safety protocols when working on or under vehicles
- Ensure tools and equipment remain in good working condition
- Adhere to environmental and waste disposal regulations
- Respond to service requests within designated timeframes
- Maintain inventory of parts and supplies in the mobile unit
- Coordinate with dispatch or scheduling personnel for job assignments
- Provide updates on job progress and completion times
- Inspect vehicles for safety compliance and performance issues
- Install aftermarket parts and accessories as requested
- Assist in training new technicians when needed
- Follow manufacturer repair guidelines and service procedures
- Use diagnostic software and handheld tools to assess vehicle systems
- Support warranty claim documentation when applicable
- Maintain professional appearance and conduct during customer interactions
- Participate in ongoing technical training programs
- Report vehicle condition issues beyond the scope of service
- Ensure mobile unit is clean, stocked, and road-ready
- Work in various weather conditions and outdoor environments
