Deel is hiring a Payroll Service Delivery Manager

About the Role

Deel seeks a Payroll Service Delivery Manager to own client escalation management, service delivery, and relationship building. In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for client issues, managing expectations and satisfaction while ensuring timely delivery per client SLAs.

What You'll Do

  • Act as the point of contact for client escalations, working with the wider team to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Manage client expectations and set clear expectations with Payroll Services Teams, both in-house and partner.
  • Communicate consistently with clients, stakeholders, partners, and your manager.
  • Hold regular service review meetings with all payroll administration clients.
  • Ensure periodic meetings occur, including setting agendas, recording minutes, distributing them, and following up on action items.
  • Manage client satisfaction data gathering, reporting, and management.
  • Demonstrate strong ownership in issue resolution by investigating thoroughly, sharing knowledge, and communicating clearly.
  • Build long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships within the client community to create a better client experience.
  • Ensure timely and accurate service delivery as per client SLAs.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • 5+ years of experience managing payroll functions.
  • Strong working knowledge of local regulations and policies related to payroll.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines timely and accurately.
  • Strong verbal and written skills to connect with clients and align with various stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex issues at an understandable level.
  • Advanced knowledge of local payroll software solutions.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong proficiency in English.

Nice to Have

  • Proficiency in Chinese or Japanese languages.
  • Global payroll (APAC) experience.

You will work closely with the Payroll Services Team, including both in-house and partner teams.
