Veralto is looking for a Payroll Partner to join our HR Services team. You will manage payroll inquiries and the full payroll cycle for the EMEA region, with a focus on Germany, ensuring compliance and timely salary payments. This is a remote position based in Czechia, supporting a vibrant, diverse, global team dedicated to safeguarding the world's most vital resources.
What You'll Do
- Manage assigned caseload for Tier 1 requests, responding to payroll inquiries and supporting transactional execution.
- Serve as point of contact for payroll inquiries from regional EMEA Associate Groups, with a primary focus on Germany.
- Manage the full payroll cycle: collect, validate, and input payroll-related data and ensure timely payment of salaries in compliance with regulations.
- Coordinate with external payroll vendors to ensure accurate calculations and timely submissions of social security, taxes, and other statutory requirements.
- Interact with HR and finance by updating HRIS and sharing hire, leaver, transfer, promotion, and organizational changes.
- Support internal and external audits, including SOX compliance, document procedures, and ensure internal controls are in place.
- Handle correspondence with tax offices, health insurance companies, social security institutions, and other authorities.
- Process supplementary insurance and pension plans.
- Prepare regular reports and statistics, issue certificates, reconcile accounts, and assist with the annual financial statements.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience executing payroll.
- Deep knowledge of local labor, tax, and social security regulations in Germany.
- Experience working within multicultural, international teams, including collaboration with Finance and HR business partners.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong collaboration skills (communication, tone, messaging, execution, planning, ownership).
- Problem solving and results-oriented mindset with excellent organizational abilities.
- Proficient in German and English language.
- Knowledge of HRIS, preferably Workday.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
