Responsibilities
- Manage complete payroll processing for fortnightly and monthly pay cycles.
- Ensure adherence to relevant legislation covering superannuation, payroll tax, and industrial awards.
- Handle onboarding of new hires and offboarding of departing employees.
- Prepare and reconcile superannuation payments, including those for corporate funds.
- Respond to employee inquiries and complete month-end payroll activities.
- Maintain integrity and correctness of all payroll records.
- Generate routine reports for internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Minimum two years of experience in a comparable payroll role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word at an intermediate level.
- Strong communication abilities with experience engaging stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ownership of processes with a results-driven mindset.
- High accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
- Capable of handling sensitive data with strict confidentiality.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Modern Awards and Enterprise Bargaining Agreements.
- Experience supporting payroll in New Zealand, Singapore, and Malaysia.
- Prior exposure to NetSuite, Dayforce, or Zone Payroll systems.
