1FI02 NGA Human Resources Oy is hiring a Payroll Country Owner, Finland to act as the central subject matter expert and strategic leader for our Strada Pay solution. You will be responsible for ensuring the platform remains compliant, efficient, and meets all Finnish regulatory standards, while shaping its roadmap and driving continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the go-to payroll expert for Finland, with deep knowledge of local legislation, tax laws, and compliance standards.
- Monitor and assess upcoming regulatory changes by working with the Compliance Alerts team, industry associations, and government updates.
- Partner with the Product Development team to inform and influence the product roadmap and ensure country-specific functionality is up to date.
- Maintain and update country workbooks with new legislative requirements and compliance changes.
- Analyze existing payroll procedures and recommend improvements to eliminate inefficiencies and minimize manual processes.
- Drive the evolution of Strada Pay by enhancing product functionality, cost-effectiveness, and user experience tailored to the local market.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives within Finland for Strada Pay methodology, delivery approach, templates, and standards.
- Provide subject matter expertise and strategic input to Strada Pay project teams during client deployments, ensuring smooth transitions.
- Act as a gatekeeper for client customization requests—balancing innovation with standardization and compliance.
- Support pre-sales activities by showcasing Strada Pay capabilities to prospective clients, sharing insights, lessons learned, and best practices.
- Collaborate with peers across the global Country Owner network to share knowledge and drive alignment.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in Payroll or HR Outsourcing.
- Deep knowledge of payroll processes, regulations, and compliance requirements within Finland.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into clear, actionable insights.
- Highly detail-oriented and process-driven with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Strong sense of accountability, ownership, and service orientation.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to a fast-paced, global working environment.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Current and future work authorization in Finland, without the need for visa sponsorship by Strada.
