About the Role
The Payer Enablement Specialist is responsible for streamlining the onboarding of insurance payers by managing data setup, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with technical and operational standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end setup and activation of payer connections
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate data mapping
- Verify payer data integrity and resolve discrepancies
- Support the integration of new insurance partners into the platform
- Troubleshoot and resolve payer-related system issues
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for payer configurations
- Work with external partners to confirm onboarding requirements
- Ensure compliance with payer-specific technical standards
- Coordinate testing procedures with internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor payer performance post-activation
- Escalate complex issues to appropriate technical teams
- Provide updates on onboarding timelines and roadblocks
- Assist in identifying process improvements for payer enablement
- Track key metrics related to payer activation success
- Serve as a point of contact for payer integration inquiries
- Support audits and compliance reviews involving payer data
- Validate payer network details for accuracy
- Facilitate communication between product, engineering, and operations teams
- Ensure timely resolution of onboarding delays
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail in data handling
- Adapt to evolving payer requirements and technical specifications
- Contribute to the development of onboarding playbooks
- Assist in training team members on payer processes
- Respond to internal requests for payer status updates
- Promote consistency across payer implementation workflows
