About the Role
The Patient Navigator helps patients navigate the journey to access investigational therapies by providing personalized support, coordinating with healthcare providers, and ensuring clear communication throughout the process.
Responsibilities
- Guide patients through the process of accessing investigational treatments
- Act as a primary point of contact for patient inquiries and concerns
- Provide clear explanations of treatment pathways and eligibility criteria
- Coordinate communication between patients, physicians, and treatment centers
- Assist in collecting and organizing required medical documentation
- Support patients in understanding next steps and timelines
- Monitor patient progress through treatment access programs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient case records
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal documentation standards
- Respond to patient questions with timely and accurate information
- Help patients manage expectations regarding treatment availability
- Identify potential barriers to access and suggest solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline patient support workflows
- Stay informed about evolving clinical trial landscapes and regulatory policies
- Deliver compassionate and culturally sensitive support to diverse patient populations
Nice to Have
- Experience in rare diseases or chronic conditions
- Knowledge of international healthcare regulations
- Additional language proficiency
- Background in nursing, social work, or allied health professions
