Adventist Health, a faith-based nonprofit organization living God's love by inspiring health, wholeness, and hope, seeks a Patient Care Technician. In this role, you will perform a variety of duties involving the observation of cardiac monitors, interpretation and documentation of Cardiac Rhythm strips, while providing personal patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN).
What You'll Do
- Assist with patient care activities under the guidance of the Charge Nurse or shift leader.
- Take and record vital signs, including pain scale, according to established policies and procedures.
- Perform clerical duties, including chart management and maintaining unit supplies and forms.
- Manage the front desk, assembling and maintaining medical charts.
- Maintain work area(s) and equipment through cleaning, stocking, and ordering of supplies.
What We're Looking For
- Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) American Heart Association certification.
Nice to Have
- High School Education/GED or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience.
- Medical secretary or receptionist experience.
Work Mode
This position is onsite at our facility in Ukiah, California.
