What You’ll Do
- Review and confirm patient insurance coverage, ensuring eligibility for wound care services.
- Prepare, submit, and monitor treatment authorizations, keeping records accurate and up to date.
- Communicate clearly with healthcare providers, case managers, and internal teams to resolve issues quickly.
- Identify and overcome obstacles in documentation, billing, or access to care to keep patient journeys on track.
- Maintain organized digital records using EHR systems and internal tracking tools.
- Work closely with clinical and administrative teams to refine intake and coordination workflows.
- Take on special projects that improve how care is delivered and experienced.
What You Bring
- A high school diploma or higher, with preference for coursework in healthcare administration or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in medical administration, insurance verification, or patient intake.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally and compassionately across roles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency with EHR platforms and digital communication tools.
- A solutions-oriented mindset and a commitment to collaborative problem-solving.
Preferred Background
- Certification in medical billing, coding, or insurance processes.

Compensation & Work Environment
