Mass General Brigham is looking for a per diem Patient Care Associate (PCA) 1 to provide essential, patient-centered care in a collaborative hospital environment. You will support nursing staff directly and play a central role in responding to patient and family needs.
What You'll Do
- Support the RN with clinical tasks, including glucometry, EKGs, and vital signs.
- Respond proactively to the needs of patients and family members.
- Contribute to the efficient operation of the unit.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Certification as a nursing assistant required upon hire, unless you are a nursing student who has completed fundamentals of nursing with a clinical component.
- May not currently hold a valid nursing license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification by the American Heart Association (AHA) or the Red Cross required upon hire.
Nice to Have
- Bi-lingual skills.
- Prior experience in a clinical setting.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- For nursing students hired as PCAs, strong preference for those enrolled in BSN programs or direct-entry Masters’ programs.

Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $18.58 - $26.58/Hourly
- $750.00 sign-on bonus for eligible new employees.
Work Mode
This is an onsite position located at 75 Francis Street.
