Mass General Brigham Community Physicians is hiring a Patient Care Assistant for the Clinical Decision Unit at MGH. You will work under the direction of licensed personnel to assist patients with activities of daily living and basic clinical tasks. This is a full-time, 36-hour-per-week night shift position requiring alternating weekends and holidays.
What You'll Do
- Perform vital signs, weights/heights, intakes, and outputs accurately and within established time frames.
- Complete all required documentation in the medical record.
- Interact effectively with patients and their families.
- Help patients with basic hygiene tasks including bathing, dressing, using the toilet, and feeding.
- Assist patients with turning, repositioning in bed, and moving between bed and wheelchair.
- Listen to patient health concerns and report them to nurses.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Certified Medical Assistant with National Certification
- Emergency Medical Technician - Basic certification for Massachusetts
- Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification for Massachusetts
- 1-2 years of experience working in patient care or elder care

Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $18.22 - $26.06 per hour.
Work Mode
This is an onsite position located at 90 Blossom Street.
