Mass General Brigham is hiring a Patient Care Assistant for the Medical Cardiology unit at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Working under the direction of licensed personnel, you will provide direct patient care, assist with activities of daily living, and perform basic clinical tasks.
What You'll Do
- Perform vital signs, weights/heights, intakes, and outputs with accuracy.
- Complete all required documentation in the medical record.
- Interact effectively with patients and their families.
- Help patients with basic hygiene tasks including bathing, dressing, using the toilet, and feeding.
- Assist patients with turning and repositioning in bed and moving between bed and wheelchair.
- Listen to patient health concerns and report them to nurses.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Nice to Have
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Certified Medical Assistant (National Certification)
- Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic (Massachusetts)
- Nursing Assistant (LNA - New Hampshire)
- 1-2 years experience working in patient care/elder care

Benefits & Compensation
- $750.00 sign-on bonus for eligible new hires
- Compensation: $18.22 - $26.06/Hourly

This role is onsite at 70 Francis Street.
