Ayr Wellness is hiring a Patient Advocate Team Lead to provide support to managers and staff while ensuring retail operations meet company standards. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of a Florida dispensary, handle patient needs, and work in conjunction with the Store Manager to hire and develop a passionate, compliant team.
What You'll Do
- Oversee and perform all functions associated with leadership and oversight of a retail medical marijuana dispensary operating under Florida Department of Health licensure.
- Provide excellent customer service to all patients while coaching other team members.
- Manage and supervise the activities of patient advocate staff, including developing and maintaining their schedules.
- Train dispensary staff on company SOPs, product knowledge, and best practices.
- Ensure all procedures are updated to provide the best practice for staff and patients.
- Administer routine inspections to maintain accurate inventory of all cannabis products.
- Manage daily financial reporting requirements and oversee all cash handling procedures.
- Ensure Key Performance Indicators are captured.
- Communicate any patient incidents or high-risk complaints to the Operations Director or Compliance team.
- Protect patient rights by overseeing the employee HIPAA education program and ensuring confidentiality.
- Oversee patient education and counseling programs, revising information on conditions and products.
- Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape, opportunities for improvement, and industry developments.
- Assist in ensuring the dispensary’s compliance with all relevant statutes, regulations, directives, and best practices.
- Strive for patient satisfaction and ensure a patient-friendly environment.
- Ensure traceability of product is maintained from reception to final sale.
- Receive, check, and enter inventory into NAV when shipments arrive.
- Take pride in the store's appearance by ensuring all areas are consistently clean, safe, and guest-ready.
What We're Looking For
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must be able to pass a Level 2 Background Check (FBI).
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Close attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- High energy, customer-focused, and proactive with strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently with employees, customers, government agencies, and the public.
