Ayr Wellness is looking for a Patient Advocate Team Lead to oversee the daily operations of a medical marijuana dispensary, ensuring retail operations meet our high standards. In this onsite role in Florida, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing and developing a team of patient advocates, and ensuring compliance with state regulations.
What You'll Do
- Oversee and perform all functions associated with leadership and oversight of a retail medical marijuana dispensary operating under Florida Department of Health licensure.
- Provide excellent customer service to all patients while coaching other team members.
- Administer routine inspections to maintain accurate inventory of all cannabis products.
- Manage and supervise the activities of patient advocate staff.
- Ensure all store procedures are updated to provide best practices for staff and patients.
- Train dispensary staff on company SOPs, product knowledge, and best practices.
- Capture key performance indicators.
- Manage daily financial reporting requirements and oversee all cash handling procedures.
- Develop and maintain a schedule for all patient advocate staff.
- Communicate any patient incidents or high-risk complaints to the Operations Director or Compliance team.
- Protect patient rights by overseeing the employee HIPAA education program and ensuring confidentiality.
- Oversee patient education and counseling programs.
- Maintain awareness of the external and internal competitive landscape, opportunities for improvement, and industry development.
- Assist in ensuring the dispensary’s compliance with all relevant statutes, regulations, and directives.
- Strive for patient satisfaction in all respects and ensure a patient-friendly environment.
- Ensure traceability of product is maintained from reception to final sale.
- Receive, check, and enter inventory into NAV when shipments arrive.
- Take pride in the store's appearance by ensuring all areas are consistently clean, safe, and guest-ready.
What We're Looking For
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must be able to pass a Level 2 Background Check (FBI).
- High school diploma or GED is required.
Nice to Have
- 1-3 years of relevant experience.
