SSM Health seeks a Patient Access Representative II to serve as a key communication link with patients and staff. You'll be responsible for accurately scheduling prescribed procedures and gathering essential demographic, insurance, and clinical information.
What You'll Do
- Gather information from patients and enter it into appropriate databases.
- Schedule patient procedures efficiently to optimize patient time and clinical resources.
- Coordinate and communicate schedules.
- Assist with insurance pre-certification and authorization coordination.
- Counsel patients regarding pre-service requirements and instructions.
- Perform clerical and reception duties associated with patient registration.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and participate in improvement plans.
- Work on special projects as needed.
- May review the work of others.
What We're Looking For
- A High School diploma or GED or 10 years of work experience.
- One year of relevant experience.

- Hourly Compensation: $15.63 - $23.45 per hour.
