About the Role

TransUnion is hiring a Credentialing Analyst (GCCA Remote) to perform due diligence and assess business legitimacy for complex cases. You will ensure compliance with local regulations, support internal partners, and help optimize credentialing workflows within our dynamic, technology-focused environment.

What You'll Do

  • Perform due diligence examination and investigation on more complex cases.
  • Authenticate end users' permissible purpose and authorized uses based on local government regulations and laws.
  • Assess certified intended use of services and products requested by more complex customers.
  • Examine and investigate using Third Party tools or resources, and research online resources.
  • Provide support to the Lead/Manager with various departmental initiatives.
  • Support internal partners by providing guidance and procedural updates specific to credentialing processes.
  • Document and maintain departmental processes.
  • Provide support to the Team for QA accountability and assist the QA Team with questions on the QA process for Credentialing.
  • Take ownership of multiple special handling initiatives, applying strategic thinking across cross-functional teams.
  • Compile, analyze, and present data-driven reports to support decision-making.
  • Proactively identify inefficiencies and recommend enhancements to existing workflows, policies, and credentialing procedures.

What We're Looking For

  • BA/BS in business, finance, or a related field.
  • Matric and relevant tertiary qualification.
  • 5+ years prior professional work experience.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze diverse business information, including regulatory documentation and operational data.
  • Skilled in identifying, articulating, and solving complex problems based on business needs and government regulations.
  • Strong judgment in determining when to escalate issues, supported by data and risk analysis.
  • Exercises independent judgment and discretion in rendering membership approvals or declinations with minimal oversight.
  • Comfortable making decisions in ambiguous or high-pressure situations using structured reasoning.
  • Manages multiple tasks and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintains focus, flexibility, and organization amid shifting priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to self-direct without constant input from leadership.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and customer-centric approach.
  • Builds strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in office productivity tools and secure web navigation.
  • Comfortable working in digital environments and adapting to new systems and platforms.
  • Must reside in a fibre-ready home with a dedicated, confidential workspace suitable for daily remote operations.
  • Must reside in South Africa. Cannot work from a location outside South Africa.
  • A minimum of a 100 Meg Fibre line is required.

  • Evaluating Regulatory Compliance: Skillfully determine, verify, and authenticate applicants’ adherence to federal, state, municipal, and international government regulations using a structured, data-driven approach.
  • Assessing Business Legitimacy: Analyze and interpret local government documentation and requirements across various countries to validate the legitimacy of business entities.
  • Policy Enforcement & Optimization: Apply sound judgment and analytical reasoning to enforce TransUnion credentialing policies, with the ability to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
  • Recognized or aspiring Subject Matter Expert in Credentialing, Consulting, Credit, Client Success, or Financial Services.

Work Mode

This is a fully remote position for candidates residing in South Africa.
