McLaren Health Care Village is looking for a Patient Access Representative I to perform critical Revenue Cycle Management functions. Under general direction, you will be responsible for completing assigned tasks in registration, financial clearance, and insurance verification within established quality and productivity standards.
What You'll Do
- Complete all assigned tasks and responsibilities accurately and in a timely manner.
- Respond promptly, professionally, and courteously to all customers’ needs.
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with all McLaren Health Care team members.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Proven skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word, Window based applications, and 10 key calculators.
Nice to Have
- Associate Degree in Health Care, Finance, or a related area. Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be accepted.
- Certification in medical billing, coding, or an equivalent job-specific certification.
- Working knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10.
- One year of experience in Revenue Cycle.
