Austin Health is seeking a dedicated Grade 2 Pathology Collector/Phlebotomist to deliver the highest level of service to patients and clients in both hospital and outpatient settings. In this role, you will be essential for maintaining specimen integrity and providing compassionate patient care while collecting samples and preparing them for transport.
What You'll Do
- Collect blood and non-blood samples with care and attention.
- Maintain meticulous records for every patient and sample.
- Prepare and package specimens for transport and testing.
- Work at multiple locations to cover leave.
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Phlebotomy or a Certificate III in Pathology Collection, Diploma of Nursing, or relevant experience.
- High level of customer service, communication and empathy towards patients and clients.
- Strong time management, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Confidence and ability to work autonomously and within a small team.
- Flexibility to work at multiple locations to cover leave.

This is an onsite position servicing our locations in Seymour, Castlemaine, and Kyneton.
