What You'll Do
Lead targeted outreach to a defined set of high-priority healthcare systems, cultivating relationships and uncovering qualified opportunities for the sales team. You’ll engage with decision makers and influencers by leveraging in-depth research on organizational structures, stakeholder roles, and market trends.
Design and execute account-based prospecting initiatives across large, multi-entity health organizations. Work closely with Product and Customer Success teams to identify expansion pathways within existing partners, ensuring alignment with active initiatives and customer priorities.
Conduct initial discovery conversations to assess interest and need, then transition validated opportunities to the appropriate internal teams. Continuously refine outreach strategies based on field feedback and shifts in the healthcare landscape.
Use modern tools and automation to enhance prospecting efficiency, while maintaining a personalized, research-driven approach. Track all activities and pipeline progress accurately in CRM platforms like Salesforce and HubSpot.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of business development experience in SaaS or HealthTech environments
- Proven ability to engage complex organizations such as health systems, hospitals, or enterprise accounts
- Experience initiating conversations with senior-level stakeholders and articulating value clearly in early discussions
- Self-motivated with strong ownership of pipeline and outreach activity
- Preference for thoughtful, insight-led outreach over high-volume tactics
- Curiosity about emerging tools, including AI and automation, to improve prospecting effectiveness
- Interest in long-term development toward a future sales leadership role
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with AI-powered sales or prospecting tools that support research, outreach, or lead qualification
- Experience collaborating with Product, Customer Success, or Marketing teams to uncover growth opportunities
