Lakeshore Learning Materials is hiring a Partner Inside Sales Representative for a remote sales role focused on the education sector. You will forge strong customer relationships through high-volume outreach, virtual appointments, and collaboration with the Outside Sales team to exceed expectations and achieve sales quotas.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with the Outside Sales team to drive customer outreach and market penetration.
- Secure new and repeat business by building strong relationships via virtual appointments and outbound calls.
- Partner regularly with schools and childcare centers to assess emerging and ongoing needs.
- Host virtual product presentations on proprietary services like Complete Classrooms®, professional development, and custom solutions.
- Conduct online research on local, state, and national trends and funding opportunities in early learning and elementary education.
- Work with leadership to form and modify sales strategies.
- Partner with outside sales, retail, and professional services groups to support educator needs.
- Identify sales leads and collaborate with various sales force members to support the market.
- Participate in weekly team meetings to discuss department initiatives.
- Assist on special projects, such as partnering with the outside sales force or participating in national and state campaigns.

Nice to Have
- Experience making high-volume outbound sales calls in an Inside Sales or Outside Sales role
- Strong track record of sales success within the EC and K–5 education sector and deep familiarity with the industry's dynamics
- Experience with Salesforce
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
