General Dynamics Information Technology is hiring a Partner Engagement Manager for Healthcare IT to act as the primary interface for managing external partners on the IHS Healthcare IT Modernization Program. This role is critical for ensuring vendor alignment, integrated delivery, and risk mitigation across a complex, multi-vendor environment.
What You'll Do
- Propose and implement a partner engagement strategy aligned with program delivery objectives and modernization roadmaps.
- Identify and prioritize potential partners based on strategic alignment and impact.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers and technology vendors.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for partners, providing guidance and support for successful integration.
- Track and report on key performance metrics, customer satisfaction, and program impact.
- Stay current on healthcare IT industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes.
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
- Support Task Order Managers in operational execution of requirements and deliverables.
- Track and provide support on PRs and PO modifications.
- Monitor and support the management of partner performance against SLAs, KPIs, and contractual obligations.
- Proactively identify, escalate, and mitigate risks related to partner delivery, staffing, quality, schedule, and compliance.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in partner management, program management, or client delivery supporting large-scale IT or healthcare IT programs.
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-vendor ecosystems within federal, regulated, or mission-critical environments.
- Strong understanding of healthcare IT modernization, including EHRs, interoperability, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and data analytics.
- Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders across government, prime contractors, and industry partners.
- Proven track record of building and managing successful partnerships, driving revenue growth, and exceeding performance targets.
- Strong understanding of healthcare IT systems, including electronic health records, health information exchange, telemedicine, and interoperability standards.
- Ability to supervise others.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Level 5 clearance.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the year.
Nice to Have
- 12-15 years of experience in partner management, business development, or sales within the healthcare IT industry.
- Experience supporting Indian Health Service, HHS, Tribal health organizations, or other federal healthcare IT modernization programs.
- Familiarity with healthcare delivery in remote, rural, or resource-constrained environments.
- PMP, ITIL, or similar professional certification.
- Experience supporting federal proposals, contract transitions, or large-scale system integrations.
- Experience supporting Oracle Cerner, or other similar large-scale health IT related companies.
