About the Role

CrowdStrike, a mission-driven cybersecurity company, is hiring a Partner Account Executive to grow our Small to Midsize Business (SMB) customer base by recruiting and enabling channel partners and Managed Service Providers (MSPs) in Tokyo. In this onsite role, you will sell CrowdStrike products through partners, managing the full sales cycle and owning a dedicated SMB quota.

What You'll Do

  • Own the SMB sales quota for your assigned territory, driving opportunity creation, deal progression, and closure of new business through partners and MSPs.
  • Run a full partner-focused sales process from prospecting, recruitment, and enablement to ensuring partner-led deal closure within the SMB segment.
  • Work cross-functionally with distribution teams to identify and target strategic partners and MSPs for recruitment.
  • Collaborate with business development teams to support the execution of SMB-targeted programs and ensure partner success.
  • Own sales excellence in forecasting, pipeline development, and CRM tool opportunity management tied to the SMB quota.
  • Execute upon the go-to-market strategy to identify incremental pipeline gains within whitespace accounts, focusing on the recruitment of strategic channel partners and MSPs.
  • Complete timely documentation within CRM and marketing software for all sales activity data.
  • Become an expert on CrowdStrike products and the cybersecurity industry.
  • Stay well educated and informed about CrowdStrike’s competitive landscape.
  • May require modified work hours to accommodate partners in other time zones and minimal, occasional travel for partner meetings or industry events.

What We're Looking For

  • 1+ years of experience cold calling into greenfield accounts, particularly in Tech, SaaS, or Security.
  • Passion and focus on learning a new sales methodology and running opportunities from discovery to close.
  • Strong presentation skills, both in-person and virtually.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant training and/or professional experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience working in a channel ecosystem role previously.

Team & Environment

You will work cross-functionally with distribution teams, business development teams, and the broader sales ecosystem including Field Sales, Sales Engineering, Sales Specialists, and Marketing.

This role is onsite in Tokyo.
