About the Role
The Participant Recruitment Manager is responsible for driving enrollment in clinical research initiatives by developing and executing effective recruitment strategies, managing outreach campaigns, and coordinating with study teams to meet participant targets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment plans for research studies
- Identify target populations and tailor outreach strategies accordingly
- Manage multiple recruitment channels including digital platforms and community networks
- Track and report on recruitment metrics and campaign performance
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical guidelines in all outreach materials
- Collaborate with research coordinators and site staff to align recruitment goals
- Maintain accurate databases of prospective and enrolled participants
- Respond to inquiries from potential participants in a timely manner
- Design and distribute recruitment materials within approved frameworks
- Monitor enrollment progress and adjust strategies to meet study timelines
- Conduct screening interviews to assess participant eligibility
- Support retention efforts by maintaining regular contact with enrolled individuals
- Stay current on best practices in recruitment and patient engagement
- Coordinate with external partners and referral sources
- Assist in training team members on recruitment protocols
- Prepare regular status updates for project leads
- Troubleshoot recruitment challenges and propose solutions
- Ensure all activities follow institutional review board requirements
- Maintain confidentiality of participant information
- Contribute to process improvements in recruitment workflows
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in a relevant discipline
- Certification in clinical research coordination
- Experience recruiting for multi-site studies
- Background in rare disease or specialized patient populations
- Familiarity with social media advertising for research recruitment
