The Pennsylvania State University seeks a Part-Time Undergraduate Research Assistant to join a Mechanical Engineering research project under Dr. Brian Fronk. You will contribute to research focused on identifying and evaluating alternative refrigerants for use in US Navy ship chiller plants.
What You'll Do
- Conduct research on alternative refrigerants for US Navy ship chiller plants
- Run experiments in a laboratory setting
- Analyze experimental and simulation data
- Develop presentations to communicate research findings
- Run engineering simulations
What We're Looking For
- Completed ME 300 (Thermodynamics) or a comparable course
- Must be a US Citizen due to grant requirements

You will report directly to Dr. Brian Fronk as part of this research project.
