Penn State is seeking a Part Time Social Media and Digital Advertising Associate to join the Center for the Performing Arts marketing team. This student role focuses on content creation and audience growth to promote arts events and build community.
What You'll Do
- Assist with content creation for social media with a focus on short-form video.
- Identify trends and grow audience interaction.
- Promote performances and engagement events to build community.
- Serve as the CPA Brand Ambassador and influencer to gain campus and community exposure.
- Work on recording video projects independently once assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Current Penn State Student.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Passion for the Arts.
- Experience using Office 365 and Microsoft Teams.
- Familiarity with copywriting, design, and video editing.
- Proven experience with social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to work with peers and staff to build community through the arts.

Team & Environment
You’ll join the undergraduate student team (Arts Marketing Collective), supervised by the Director of Marketing and receiving one-on-one mentoring by a specialist.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $18/hour
- Can be offered as an official paid internship for academic credit.
- Possibility for continuation of employment through summer and up to completion of your undergraduate degree.

This is a hybrid position based in University Park, PA.
