Penn State is looking for a Part-Time Research Assistant for an undergraduate student to join a research team in high-energy astroparticle physics. The role involves contributing to projects focused on neutrinos using computational tools and laboratory work.
What You'll Do
- Contribute to ongoing research projects in high-energy astroparticle physics, with a focus on neutrinos.
- Conduct research using computational tools.
- Work in the lab on radio detection of neutrinos, including mechanical design, high-frequency electronics, and antennas for experiments deployed in remote locations like Greenland, Antarctica, New Zealand, and Argentina.

The research team is supervised by Dr. Stephanie Wissel, Associate Professor in Physics and Astronomy and Astrophysics.
