Hyatt Regency Lake Washington is looking for a part-time Human Resources professional to support HR operations at Grand Hyatt Tokyo. This role focuses on providing essential administrative and operational support to ensure smooth HR functions for our diverse team.
What You'll Do
- Support onboarding and offboarding procedures, including guidance and verification of personal documents, employment contracts, and regulatory paperwork
- Verify employee residence cards and work eligibility
- Register employee information into HR and attendance management systems
- Check time cards, attendance data, and process overtime and vacation requests
- Perform simple aggregation of shift information and working hours
- Handle basic inquiries from new employees, part-time, and temporary staff, escalating as needed
- File, scan, and convert HR-related documents to PDF
- Manage simple rosters and input data using Excel
- Update various HR ledgers
- Handle applicant correspondence via email and phone
- Coordinate interviews, including meeting room booking and contacting responsible personnel
- Assist with reception duties on new employee orientation days
What We're Looking For
- Basic PC skills
- Proficiency in Excel for data input and simple functions like SUM, IF, and VLOOKUP
- Proficiency in Word for document creation
- Proficiency in Outlook for email correspondence
- Strong administrative processing ability and high accuracy
- Ability to perform detailed work carefully and precisely
- Strong discretion and sense of responsibility due to handling confidential personal information
- Effective communication skills for interacting with employees and internal personnel
Nice to Have
- English language skills to effectively support a hospitality environment with many foreign staff
