Hyatt Regency Lake Washington is looking for an HR Officer to manage the full spectrum of human resources functions within our dynamic hotel environment. You will be responsible for recruitment, onboarding, training, employee relations, compliance, and performance management.
What You'll Do
- Post job openings, screen resumes, schedule interviews, and conduct reference checks.
- Facilitate onboarding by introducing new hires to hotel policies, culture, and service standards.
- Organize training sessions on customer service, safety, and hospitality standards.
- Identify skill gaps and implement development programs to enhance staff performance.
- Act as a mediator between staff and management to resolve conflicts.
- Promote employee engagement and satisfaction through recognition programs and feedback systems.
- Ensure adherence to labor laws, health and safety regulations, and hotel policies.
- Maintain accurate employee records and handle disciplinary procedures when necessary.
- Support managers in conducting appraisals and setting performance goals.
- Monitor productivity and recommend improvements to align with hotel objectives.
What We're Looking For

- Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Organizational ability to manage multiple HR functions simultaneously.
Nice to Have
- Degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, or Business Administration.
- Prior experience in hospitality or service-oriented industries.
