Hyatt Regency Lake Washington is hiring a part-time Human Resources professional to provide essential support for the Grand Hyatt Tokyo's HR department. This role involves detailed administrative and operational tasks critical to smooth employee lifecycles.
What You'll Do
- Support onboarding and offboarding procedures, including guiding new hires through document submission, verifying residence cards and work qualifications, and processing resignations.
- Manage attendance-related tasks by checking time cards, processing overtime and vacation requests, and performing basic aggregation of shift data.
- Respond to basic employee inquiries from new hires, part-timers, and temporary staff, escalating complex issues as needed.
- Handle document management and data processing, including filing, scanning, PDF conversion, simple roster management in Excel, and updating ledgers.
- Assist with recruitment support through applicant correspondence, interview coordination, and reception duties on new employee orientation days.
What We're Looking For
- Basic PC proficiency with Excel (data input, functions like SUM, IF, VLOOKUP), Word (document creation), and Outlook (email correspondence).
- Administrative processing ability and high accuracy for detailed work, with discretion and responsibility for handling personal information.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with employees and internal stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- English language skills, which can be used for onboarding foreign employees, explaining procedures, simple shift/attendance communication, checking English HR documents, and basic email correspondence.
