About the Role
The contributor will create, review, and adapt instructional content to align with learning standards and accessibility guidelines, supporting educators in delivering differentiated instruction.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality educational materials for classroom use
- Revise existing resources to meet clarity and alignment standards
- Ensure content supports diverse learning needs and settings
- Collaborate with curriculum designers on resource development
- Follow established guidelines for instructional design
- Conduct research to inform content accuracy and relevance
- Adapt materials for various grade levels and subjects
- Maintain consistency across content sets
- Respond to feedback for iterative improvements
- Meet deadlines for content delivery and revisions
- Support alignment with academic standards
- Contribute to content organization and structure
- Participate in team meetings and planning sessions
- Track progress on assigned tasks and projects
- Ensure accessibility in all developed materials
- Use digital tools for content creation and collaboration
- Stay current with best practices in education content
- Support quality assurance processes
- Help maintain a library of instructional resources
- Communicate clearly with team members and reviewers
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in education or related area
- Experience in special education or inclusive classrooms
- Background in curriculum design or publishing
- Familiarity with IEPs or learning accommodations
- Experience with online learning platforms
- Training in universal design for learning
- Prior work with standards-aligned resources
- Demonstrated ability to simplify complex topics
- Portfolio of developed educational materials
- Experience collaborating remotely on content projects
Compensation
