About the Role

The Pennsylvania State University's College of Engineering is hiring a Part-Time Chemical Engineering Research Assistant for Professor Gina Noh's research group, which is part of the Robert V. Waltemeyer Department of Chemical Engineering and the Materials Research Institute at the University Park campus.

What You'll Do

  • Explore hydrothermal synthesis of crystalline oxides with tunable morphology for CO2 capture applications.
  • Use techniques including spectroscopy (FTIR, Raman), XRD, and TGA.
  • Collaborate with Dr. Jordan Meyet at the Materials Characterization Lab.

What We're Looking For

  • Interest in learning materials synthesis and characterization.
  • Knowledge of general chemistry and organic chemistry principles.

You will join the research group of Professor Gina Noh, collaborating with the Materials Research Institute and Dr. Jordan Meyet at the Materials Characterization Lab.

This is an onsite position located at the University Park campus of The Pennsylvania State University.
