Recover Medical Group is looking for a part-time Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor to provide remote outpatient and intensive outpatient treatment. You will guide patients with substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions through their recovery, working directly with them and collaborating closely with our treatment team.
What You'll Do
- Provide counseling to patients in one-on-one, group, and family settings
- Develop relationships with patients and help guide them through their recovery journey
- Collaborate regularly with the treatment team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans
What We're Looking For
- CAADC / LAADC certification valid in California from a state-recognized organization OR be an AMF / ASW / APCC in need of supervised practice hours
- 2+ years of experience in mental health and/or substance use treatment
Nice to Have
- Availability for evening hours
- Experience treating addiction
- Lived experience with substance use
- Fluent in Spanish
Team & Environment
You'll join a small team growing quickly and collaborate with a treatment team including a medical director, physicians, nurse practitioners, and case managers. You will report to a Clinical Supervisor.
