Allstate Insurance Co. is hiring a Paralegal Specialist to join our Litigation Services team. In this remote role based in Texas, you will be essential to delivering strong legal outcomes by managing the litigation life cycle for high-impact insurance defense cases involving bodily injury claims. You’ll work closely with experienced attorneys, taking ownership from initial complaint through trial preparation.
What You'll Do
- Manage litigation files from inception through resolution, including trial preparation.
- Draft and file pleadings, respond to discovery, and support motion practice.
- Order and track medical records and coordinate expert review and disclosures.
- Prepare arbitration and trial materials, including jury instructions when applicable.
- Handle e-filing in Texas courts.
- Monitor case deadlines and ensure timely service and compliance.
- Collaborate with attorneys and other paralegals to maintain organized, high-quality case files.
- Participate in limited in-office responsibilities, such as supporting the mail hub approximately three times per month.
What We're Looking For
- A 2-year paralegal certificate from an ABA approved program.
Nice to Have
- Experience as a Paralegal with a focus on insurance defense or civil litigation.
- Experience managing high-volume caseloads in a fast-paced legal environment.
- Familiarity with legal procedures, including pleadings, discovery, motions, and court filings.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence.
