Directive is hiring a Paid Social Strategist (Remote US)

What You'll Do

As a Paid Social Strategist, you'll manage a portfolio of mid-market and enterprise client accounts, focusing on building and refining high-impact LinkedIn advertising strategies. You’ll develop quarterly campaign plans, manage budget allocation, and continuously optimize performance to maximize ROI. Your role includes direct communication with clients, ensuring alignment on goals, expectations, and campaign outcomes.

You’ll collaborate closely with internal leadership to meet both client and organizational objectives, while also identifying opportunities for upsells, referrals, and expanded service offerings. A key part of your work will involve validating CRM lead routing accuracy and maintaining strong coordination with vendor partners to improve execution quality and workflow efficiency.

Daily responsibilities include hands-on campaign execution in LinkedIn Campaign Manager, crafting targeted ad copy, defining audience segments using tools like ZoomInfo and 6Sense, and analyzing performance data to guide strategic decisions. You’ll use platforms such as Google Analytics and GA4 to interpret results and adjust tactics in real time.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years at a performance or digital marketing agency, with direct experience supporting B2B clients
  • Proven track record managing paid social campaigns, especially on LinkedIn
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn ad formats including conversation ads, document ads, and CTV placements
  • Strong grasp of audience segmentation by job title, seniority, and organizational tier
  • Experience using LinkedIn Campaign Manager, ZoomInfo, 6Sense, Google Analytics, GA4, and Excel
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into clear, actionable strategies
  • Skill in managing multiple projects with precision and attention to quality
  • Competitive drive balanced with intellectual curiosity and a problem-solving mindset
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings, typically once per year

Benefits

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage — 100% employer-paid for employees, 50% contribution for dependents
  • Disability and life insurance included
  • Access to mental health support through Spring Health and mindfulness resources via Headspace
  • Physical therapy via Omada, fertility support through Carrott, and virtual fitness with Aaptiv
  • Complimentary One Medical membership for convenient healthcare
  • Unlimited paid time off (minimum two-week usage)
  • Paid holidays, your birthday off, and an annual end-of-year recharge period (December 24 – January 1)
  • Paid parental leave and retirement planning with a 3% company match on 401(k)
  • Annual bonus program that increases with tenure

Work Environment

This is a fully remote position open to candidates across the United States. While the team operates virtually, there’s an optional workspace available in Irvine, California. The culture emphasizes inclusion, innovation, and personal growth — where ideas matter more than hierarchy and diverse perspectives are valued.

We are an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will be considered without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status.
