Responsibilities
- Design and implement lesson plans, adapting them as necessary throughout the academic year
- Adjust teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning needs of all students
- Keep thorough and up-to-date records of each student's academic progress and development
- Apply evidence-based teaching strategies in daily lesson planning and classroom delivery
- Enforce consistent classroom behavior management practices
- Foster an inclusive and encouraging learning atmosphere
- Use approved curricula that reflect students' varied cultural, linguistic, and educational backgrounds
- Support and uphold school-wide behavioral and cultural expectations
- Engage with families to discuss students' academic and social-emotional development
- Integrate technology into instruction to enhance student learning
- Assist in organizing and executing non-instructional school activities when required
- Work collaboratively and communicate clearly with fellow educators and staff
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by administration
