Responsibilities
- Design and implement lesson plans with flexibility for adjustments throughout the academic year
- Adapt teaching strategies to address diverse student learning needs
- Keep thorough and up-to-date records of each student's academic and developmental progress
- Apply evidence-based teaching methods in daily instruction and planning
- Oversee classroom behavior to maintain a productive learning atmosphere
- Foster an inclusive and encouraging classroom climate
- Use approved curricula that reflect students' varied cultural, linguistic, and educational backgrounds
- Enforce established school culture standards and behavioral expectations
- Engage with families to discuss students' academic and social-emotional development
- Integrate technology into classroom activities to enhance learning outcomes
- Support non-instructional events and school activities as required
- Work collaboratively with fellow educators and staff
- Complete additional tasks assigned by school administration
Compensation
The salary range is $41,000 - $50,500. Starting pay may vary based on location, qualifications, experience, education, and other relevant factors.
