Responsibilities
- Design and implement effective lesson plans, adapting them as necessary throughout the academic year
- Adjust teaching methods to accommodate diverse student learning needs and abilities
- Keep thorough and up-to-date records of each student's academic and behavioral progress
- Apply instructional strategies supported by educational research in daily classroom activities
- Oversee and guide student conduct to maintain a structured learning environment
- Foster an inclusive and encouraging classroom atmosphere conducive to learning
- Use curricula approved by the school that reflect the varied cultural, linguistic, and educational backgrounds of students
- Support and uphold school-wide behavioral standards and cultural expectations
- Engage with families through regular communication and meetings about student progress
- Integrate technology tools into instruction to enhance student learning experiences
- Assist in organizing and carrying out non-academic school events when required
- Work collaboratively with fellow staff members through clear and consistent communication
- Carry out additional responsibilities as determined by school administration
