Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans, adapting them as needed throughout the academic year
- Adjust teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning needs of all students
- Keep thorough and up-to-date records of each student's academic and personal development
- Apply research-supported instructional strategies in daily classroom planning and teaching
- Maintain appropriate student conduct and discipline within the classroom setting
- Foster an inclusive and encouraging learning atmosphere for all students
- Use approved curricula that reflect the varied cultural, linguistic, and educational backgrounds of students
- Support and uphold school-wide behavioral and cultural standards
- Engage with families to discuss student progress in both academic and social-emotional areas
- Integrate technology into instruction to enhance student learning experiences
- Assist in organizing and carrying out non-instructional school activities when required
- Work collaboratively with fellow educators and staff through clear communication
- Complete additional tasks assigned by school administration
