Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans, adapting them as necessary throughout the academic year
- Adjust teaching methods to accommodate varied student learning needs
- Keep thorough and current records of each student's academic progress and development
- Apply teaching strategies proven by research in daily lesson planning and instruction
- Oversee and guide student conduct within the classroom setting
- Foster an inclusive and encouraging classroom atmosphere conducive to learning
- Use approved curricula that reflect students' diverse cultural, linguistic, and educational backgrounds
- Enforce established school culture standards and behavioral expectations
- Engage with families to discuss student academic performance and social-emotional development
- Integrate technology into everyday instruction to enhance student learning
- Assist in organizing and carrying out non-academic school activities when required
- Work collaboratively with fellow staff members through clear communication
- Carry out additional assigned tasks as needed by administration
