Responsibilities
- Providing a warm and welcoming environment within our hotel where everyone feels at home.
- Assisting with valet parking and luggage.
- Supporting the Duty Manager with guest requests/tasks.
- Resolve any guest issues promptly and successfully ensuring follow-up and excellent communication at all times.
- Hotel security floor checks.
- Providing local information on Christchurch and the surrounding area.
- Help guests with booking activities, restaurants, and travel options.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy environment in all common areas, both inside and outside the hotel.
- Fix minor technical issues, like changing bulbs, remote control batteries.
- Comply with health and safety regulations and follow emergency evacuation procedures.
Requirements
- Availability to work weekends, public holidays, and overnight shifts.
- A valid New Zealand driver's license is required; manual driving skills are a plus.
- Eligible to work in New Zealand.
