What You'll Do
Take ownership of generating new business by directly engaging restaurant owners and operators in the Waterbury area. You'll initiate conversations, identify operational challenges, and present tailored technology solutions that improve efficiency and revenue.
Schedule and conduct in-person meetings at client locations to demonstrate Clover point-of-sale systems and BentoBox online ordering platforms. Use consultative selling techniques to build trust, address pain points, and guide decision-makers toward solutions that fit their needs.
Drive sales by independently sourcing leads, following up on prospects, and converting opportunities into long-term clients. Install Clover systems on-site and deliver practical training to ensure smooth adoption and effective use.
Represent the company with integrity, aligning with core ethical standards while building strong relationships with clients and partners. Collaborate with local Restaurant Depot locations to expand outreach and increase market presence.
Travel regularly within the Waterbury region to meet clients face to face and support field initiatives. This role is not eligible for remote work in certain states due to regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years in sales with a focus on self-generated leads and quota attainment
- Proven experience in cold calling, prospecting, and closing deals with small to mid-sized businesses
- Ability to manage a full-cycle sales process from outreach to installation and training
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Three or more years of sales experience, particularly in technology or financial services
