What You'll Do
- Act as the primary point of contact for current and prospective customers, representing the company with professionalism and integrity during in-person visits.
- Conduct on-site facility assessments to understand environmental and operational needs, then recommend customized solutions based on airflow and space requirements.
- Log all customer interactions and site data accurately in the CRM system to ensure continuity and informed follow-up.
- Maintain consistent communication across teams—including inside sales, field services, and management—to deliver seamless service.
- Drive new business by initiating meetings with existing accounts and qualified leads, expanding reach within your territory.
- Follow up after installations to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for future engagement.
- Respond promptly to requests for site visits from internal teams, supporting efficient project timelines.
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales with a track record of managing client relationships and closing deals.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to independently manage multiple priorities and schedules.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms—Salesforce experience is preferred—with consistent documentation habits.
- Reliable, clean driving record and willingness to operate and maintain a company-branded vehicle (sedan, SUV, or truck).
- Ability to travel frequently, including overnight stays averaging three days per week during peak periods.
- Comfortable driving 3–5 hours at a time, with weekly drive time reaching up to 20 hours.
- Capable of standing or walking for extended periods—up to six hours—during large facility evaluations, including physical tasks like taking floor-to-ceiling measurements.
- Must live within the designated sales territory covering Chicago and Milwaukee.
- Demonstrates professionalism in appearance and demeanor, with a self-motivated, results-driven mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in industrial or B2B sales environments.
- Fluency in Spanish.
- Experience using CAD software or interpreting engineering drawings and building plans.
