Responsibilities
- Attend industry events, meetups, and conferences to build a local and regional network.
- Put Salvo Software on the map in new markets.
- Prospect and conduct cold outreach to identify businesses that need a technology partner.
- Make a compelling case for why Salvo Software should be that partner.
- Lead initial discovery conversations by listening first and selling second.
- Understand prospect challenges and collaborate with technical architects to propose long-term solutions.
- Collaborate with the technical team to develop proposals.
- Own the client relationship through to deal close.
- Stay organized and accountable by maintaining a clean and current pipeline in HubSpot.
- Track activity and report on what's working.
- Nurture long-term client relationships even after deals are closed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales or field sales.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to prospect and conduct cold outreach effectively.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Experience using CRM systems (HubSpot experience preferred but not required).
- Passion for technology and understanding of business challenges that software can solve.
Nice to Have
- Experience selling software or technology services.
- Existing network in the Pacific Northwest business community.
- Familiarity with enterprise-grade software solutions.
Additional Information
- Must be comfortable organizing and managing sales efforts independently.
- Regular travel within the region to attend events and meet prospects is expected.
- Position emphasizes long-term relationship building over transactional sales.
