SunSource is hiring an Outside Sales Account Manager - Industrial Component Service & Repair

About the Role

The role involves identifying new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, and delivering tailored service solutions for industrial equipment repair and component maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the industrial sector
  • Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients
  • Conduct on-site consultations with customers to assess service needs
  • Present customized repair and maintenance solutions to technical and operations stakeholders
  • Coordinate with internal technical teams to ensure accurate proposals
  • Prepare quotes and service agreements for industrial component services
  • Track and report sales activities and pipeline progress
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Stay current on product specifications and repair capabilities
  • Attend industry events and trade shows to generate leads
  • Educate customers on service benefits and turnaround time advantages
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve service-related concerns
  • Collaborate with logistics to ensure timely component return
  • Provide feedback to operations on customer requirements
  • Support marketing initiatives with field insights
  • Maintain accurate CRM records for all client interactions
  • Follow up on service referrals from partner networks
  • Promote preventive maintenance programs to reduce equipment downtime
  • Work with engineering to customize repair options for complex parts
  • Ensure compliance with safety and handling standards in client interactions
