About the Role
The role involves developing and maintaining Oracle APEX applications, translating business requirements into technical solutions, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness of databases and user interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Design and build Oracle APEX applications from concept to deployment
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine functional requirements
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient PL/SQL code
- Optimize database queries and application performance
- Troubleshoot and debug existing APEX applications
- Implement responsive user interfaces aligned with modern standards
- Document technical specifications and development processes
- Ensure data integrity and security across applications
- Integrate APEX applications with external systems and APIs
- Support user acceptance testing and resolve feedback
- Adhere to version control and development best practices
- Maintain existing application functionality during updates
- Participate in project planning and milestone reviews
- Deliver solutions within agreed timelines and quality standards
- Provide post-deployment support and maintenance as needed
Nice to Have
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of UX/UI design principles
- Exposure to agile development methodologies
- Certifications in Oracle technologies
