SPACE44 is looking for an enthusiastic Oracle APEX Developer to join our fully remote team. In this freelance role, you will focus on developing features for mobile devices with offline capabilities within our production environment. What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain Apex applications for production environments
- Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Create features for mobile devices with strong offline capabilities
- Enhance and optimize existing Apex applications
- Prepare for a potential transition from Apex to React-based applications
- Conduct tests, debug, and ensure performance and security
- Support end-users with training and documentation
- Stay up to date with Apex and evolving technologies
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Software Developer
- At least 3 years of Apex development experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Strong expertise in designing mobile applications using Apex
- Familiarity with Oracle databases and PL/SQL
- Experience working in production environments
- Basic knowledge of React and willingness to transition
- Strong analytical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a distributed team
Nice to Have
- Experience working in low-code or ERP platforms
- Exposure to React or front-end component-based development
- Familiarity with mobile-first design and offline synchronization techniques
- Interest in transitioning from Apex to modern JavaScript frameworks
- Experience supporting remote teams or distributed product environments
- Basic understanding of cloud deployment or containerization workflows
