Company is looking for an Operator to join our team, responsible for remote operation and maintenance on various wellhead platforms. In this role, you will ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations by executing routine monitoring and frontline maintenance tasks. Your work will be critical in maintaining compliance with all SSHE regulations, standards, and procedures.
What You'll Do
- Monitor plant operations on site including adjusting local set points and gauges, and report abnormalities.
- Open and shut various valves manually, and start and stop pumps and rotating equipment.
- Perform normal routine and specific work such as pigging operations, well testing, blowdowns, and ESD testing.
- Operate Wellhead Platform via HMI on Automated, Semi-Automated, and Conventional platforms.
- Carry out plant housekeeping and minor frontline maintenance like greasing, cleaning, and replacing minor parts.
- Control work permits and activities on the remote platform on behalf of the Production Supervisor.
- Perform routine checks of plant operating conditions per set schedules, including taking samples and recording readings.
- Regularly perform ESD testing to ensure safety shut-down systems are functional.
- Assist with specific tasks like intelligent pigging operations, filter changeovers, and process field trial tests.
- Manage consumable supplies on site and observe all SSHE rules and regulations.
- Refill chemical tanks and monitor injection rates.
- Perform instructed frontline maintenance.
- Troubleshoot equipment including wellhead platforms, control valves, hydraulic systems, pumps, generators, and compressors.
- Perform personnel and material lifting, both statically and dynamically.
- Conduct monthly and 6-month inspections on safety equipment, fire extinguishers, and perform safety audits.
- Act as an escort for special project teams visiting the platform.
- Perform emergency response for Loss of Containment situations.
What We're Looking For
- Technical Diploma in a related field.
- 2-4 years' experience as a multi-skills operator and maintenance technician in the oil and gas industry or equivalent.
- At least 2 years experience working in any fields in the G1 area.
- Fair command of both spoken and written English.
- Ability to sustain moderate physical effort, including standing, walking, and climbing for 50% of work time.
- Valid medical reports with fit-to-work results.
- Valid Certificate of Tropical BOSIET, BOSIET, TFOET, or FOET.
Nice to Have
- Ability to perform booster compressor and booster Gas Lift Compressor stop, start, and running operations.
