What You'll Do
Perform manufacturing tasks on the second shift by following documented procedures to produce reliable components. Operate tools and equipment according to specifications, ensuring each step aligns with quality and safety standards. Monitor process variables and maintain accurate records of daily activities, promptly addressing or escalating any deviations.
Conduct routine inspections and functional tests to verify product integrity. Keep workspaces organized and compliant with 5S principles, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored. Support consistent workflow by communicating clearly with team members and supervisors, contributing to a safe and efficient production environment.
Requirements
- Follow safety protocols and wear required protective gear in a moderate-risk manufacturing setting
- Read and interpret technical instructions, SOPs, and basic mechanical diagrams
- Demonstrate hand-eye coordination and physical capability for standing, bending, and lifting
- Use hand tools and basic equipment safely and accurately
- Enter data using email, spreadsheets, and data entry systems
- Adhere to standardized work processes and raise concerns when procedures cannot be followed
- Participate in daily management meetings and continuous improvement initiatives
- Meet attendance and scheduling expectations for consistent shift coverage
- Pass vision screenings, including near and color vision, if required
- Be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR and EAR, or eligible to obtain required authorizations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in machining or assembly operations
- Familiarity with mechanical systems and tooling applications
- Two or more years in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to interpret blueprints and apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
