As an Operations Supervisor, you will manage the daily workflow of a temperature-controlled warehouse, ensuring seamless execution of inbound and outbound logistics while maintaining strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards. You'll lead a team with clarity and consistency, fostering a culture rooted in respect, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of warehouse activity during the day shift, including inventory control and process compliance
- Ensure team members understand their roles, with a strong emphasis on health and safety protocols
- Direct daily operations in a fast-moving environment, adjusting as needed to meet customer demands
- Uphold organizational policies and regulatory requirements across all stages of storage and distribution
- Use a computer-based tracking system to monitor and manage inventory accuracy
- Maintain positive relationships with internal teams and external partners
- Support compliance with export and licensing standards for all handled goods
Qualifications and Experience
- 4–5 years of experience in warehouse or operations management, including direct team leadership
- Proven ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
- Strong analytical and numeracy skills for accurate decision-making
- Current Forklift Operator’s licence required
- Experience with reach trucks and regulated export environments is an advantage
- Availability to work beyond standard hours when necessary to complete daily operations
