About the Role We're seeking an Operations Strategy Senior Manager or Principal to drive Moxie's most critical cross-functional initiatives — encompassing new state expansions and scaling systems that power our services. In this highly strategic and hands-on position, you'll develop frameworks, processes, and operational guidelines enabling Moxie's efficient and compliant growth. You'll collaborate closely with leaders across Legal, Product, Operations, and Sales to convert strategic objectives into scalable, executable strategies. You've likely directed operational strategy at a rapidly growing startup or consulting organization — constructing foundations that fuel expansion, enhance efficiency, and deliver business advantages. At Moxie, your contributions will similarly transform operational complexity into clarity, systematic approaches, and accelerated progress. We're flexible in hiring this role at either the Senior Manager or Principal level based on experience. What You'll Do Lead Strategic Initiatives - Manage planning and execution of new state launches and service expansions, translating complex legal and operational requirements into actionable workstreams. - Collaborate with Product, Legal, and Operations to ensure every launch is designed for scale, compliance, and long-term sustainability. Design Scalable Systems - Create repeatable frameworks and tools maintaining Moxie's agility and consistency during growth — spanning compliance operations to service delivery. - Streamline information flow between teams using automation and integrated tools. Drive Cross-Functional Execution - Function as connective tissue across departments, ensuring ownership clarity, priority alignment, and seamless interdepartmental transitions. - Conduct operational readiness reviews for every new state or service launch. Forecast and Optimize Capacity - Develop and maintain models helping team leads predict operational workload, identify bottlenecks, and plan resources proactively. Analyze and Improve Performance - Monitor performance of supplementary services and operational initiatives, identifying efficiency, risk reduction, and margin improvement opportunities. Scale Legal & Compliance Operations - Partner with Legal and external vendors to manage filings, track requirements, and build scalable multi-state compliance systems.
